37401 and 417 near Roman Bridge, May 31st 2008.  The locos were working an excursion from  Peterborough to Blaenau Ffestiniog.

The first visit of a High Speed Train to the line was on March 6th 1993 when 43043 and 073 arrived on a tour from London Kings Cross. The train is seen here near Llanrwst.



47854 at Betws y Coed on "The Lancastrian" railtour. This train was returning to Carnforth. 25th June 2005.
