JŽ class 83
compound 0-8-2 83.124 (Krauss Linz/1903) runs past 2-8-2
85.020 which is waiting to depart with the 18:35 overnight
train to Sarajevo. 83.124 was the first of a
batch of 29 compound 0-8-2 locos of which the first 24 were
built by Krauss in Linz, Austria and the last 5 were built in
Budapest, Hungary.
My final
shot of the Yugoslavian narrow gauge - JŽ class 83 compound
0-8-2 83.151 (Budapest/1908) pauses between movements at
Dubrovnik station. This is the locomotive
that we had seen earlier that afternoon at Hum where it was
shunting a freight train for Dubrovnik. Next page:
